Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones "MODON" participated in IKTVA exhibition and forum 2018, organized by Saudi Aramco from 27-26 November 2018 at Dhahran International Conference Center in Dhahran. The Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications and the official spokesperson in "MODON", Bandar Al-Toaimi stated that participation in the IKTVA comes as part of its relentless efforts to industry enable by offering investment opportunities in the industrial and logistics sectors, in order to offer upcoming opportunities, and to attract more investments in support of increasing the percentage of local content and diversifying the economy of the country and contribute to the development process and achieve Kingdom Vision 2030, pointing to the need to strengthen the complementary relations between the stakeholders and partners in the public and private sectors.
The Director of Business Development in "MODON", Engineer Ali Al Omair, presented a presentation about "MODON” role in the development, planning and operation of industrial cities and supervising the technical areas, incentives and provided services to partners such as industrial land, ready factories, logistics opportunities and business incubators. Al-Omair also discussed the most important future products that "MODON" is working on to enable the industry and support local content, thus contributing to the Kingdom vision 2030. The forum, which attracts more than 3,000 participants from more than 40 countries, aims to provide more than 50 investment opportunities to attract new investments to increase local content in goods and services to 70% and increase energy exports to 30% by year 202. In addition, to facilitating and developing the procurement and supply system for the energy sector in the Kingdom to enjoy diversity, sustainability and competitiveness, while enhancing reliability in the supplier’s chain and reducing costs.
