Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones "MODON" participated in the Supply Chain and Logistics Conference, which was organized by the Ministry of Transport at the Four Seasons Hotel in Riyadh during 15-16 October, under the patronage of His Excellency the Minister of Transport Dr. Nabil bin Mohammed Al-Amoudi, through the exhibition, which focused on presenting its experience in logistics and innovative solutions to its partners. The Engineer Ali Al Omair, the Director of Business Development in "MODON", presented the advanced development of infrastructure and services in the industrial cities and its supportive environment for investment in the logistics sector, referring to "MODON" new strategic plans and programs aimed at creating a comprehensive industrial vision to empower the industry in contributing to achieving the ambitious of Saudi Vision 2030. Al Omair discussed the future of "MODON" in the field of supply chains and logistics. "MODON" reached an advanced stage of advanced partnerships with the private sector, which contributed to the provision of multimedia logistics areas to serve its investors and industrial partners through a supportive environment, which makes it easier for factories to deliver raw materials and finished products to their customers with the best means and lowest costs. "MODON" participation focused on the importance of the logistics sector in the development of the economy in the Kingdom in general, and industrial cities in particular, because of its active role in attracting international and domestic investments, and help to localize the industry and provide employment opportunities for the citizens. The Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications in "MODON", Bandar Al-Toaimi stated the importance of the logistics sector in the development of Kingdom economy in general, and industrial cities of "MODON" in particular. He pointed out "MODON" care in developing this sector and make it part of its priority plans because of its active role in attracting international and local investments and help to localize the industry and provide employment opportunities for citizen. "MODON" has already made significant progress in its partnerships with public and private sector entities, where it successfully attracted leading investors and signed 170 contracts in the logistics sector.
