Career History

Dr. Yousef Mohammed Al-Youssef has held many important positions since 2005, starting as an assistant professor at the Energy Research Institute in King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. Then he moved to work at the Institute of Water and Energy Research in King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology. Dr. Al-Youssef assumed several leadership positions at the institute until he became the Director of the Institute in 2014.

Dr. Al-Youssef has won several prestigious awards during his career, such as the Excellence Award for Graduation from Prince Bandar bin Sultan Al Saud in 2004, and the Excellence Award in Teaching from Carnegie Mellon University in the United States for his outstanding efforts in teaching in May 2003. He also obtained an Honors degree with distinction from King Saud University in May 1995.

 


Experiences

Dr. Yousef Al-Youssef is considered one of the prominent experts in mechanical engineering in the Kingdom. He has more than 15 years of experience holding several important positions that reflect his prestigious position and highlight his high competence in this field.



 

Education

Dr. Al-Youssef earned a PhD in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University in the United States in 2007 and completed a Master’s degree in Nuclear Engineering from Purdue University in the United States in 1998.
