The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz,  has inaugurated a number of the Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones " MODON"  projects in the first and second industrial city in Qassim. In the presence of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince, Vice President of the Council of Ministers and Minister of Defense, during his visit to Qassim region. The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques lays foundation stones for the Qassim Oasis projects worth 68 million riyals, after the completion of infrastructure development, to create an environment conducive to women's work, based on light and medium industries for business leaders with international standards. The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones, General Manager Eng. Khalid Al Salem, said that the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques's stand on development projects and direct communication with its officials confirms the Kingdom's determination to move ahead with achieving the Vision 2030, in order to enhance economic diversification and social prosperity and the confirmation of what the wise leadership, represented by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and His Highness the Crown Prince of the attention of all the sons of the kingdom, and an extension of communication between the leadership and the society, since the time of the founder King Abdul Aziz - may God have mercy on him - through his sons the kings after him. Al Salem revealed that the total development projects that were launched in the first and second industrial city in Qassim, including  MODON Oasis project, at a cost exceeding 172 million riyals, including 26 ready factories for entrepreneurs and some infrastructure projects. He pointed out that the projects of the first industrial city in Qassim including 16 ready factories at a cost exceeding 18 million riyals, while the projects of the second industrial city in Qassim including 10 ready factories at a cost exceeding 11 million riyals. In addition to linking the city with Riyadh - Qassim highway worth more than 35 million riyals, and completion of linking the road to the second industrial city at a cost of more than 40 million riyals. Indicating that the target industries in both industrial cities it includes processed food products, metal products, furniture products, food and beverage, three-dimensional printing products, plastic products, chemical products, rubber products, paper products, textile products and others.
