The Saudi Industrial Property Authority "MODON" signed memorandum of understanding with Dawiyat Telecom Company. "Dawiyat" is subsidiary to the Saudi Electricity Company, which will study the establishment of optical fiber networks in "MODON" industrial cities, and connect them by means of telephone communication, graphical information and Internet, and develops services to various sectors of the industry, using broadband services for telecommunications and high speeds Internet, taking advantage of the company's expertise in the provision of advanced telecommunications services and information technology.

The memorandum, which was signed today by the Director General of "MODON", Eng. Khalid Al Salem, and the Chief Executive Officer at "Dawiyat", Dr. Ahmed Sindi,  at "Modon" headquarters  in Riyadh.  That company is responsible for the study in these cities, in addition to the processing and presentation of packages of voice, data, cloud, informatics, smart and Internet services for individuals and companies located in industrial cities in accordance with the licenses issued for  "Dawiyat" and its partnerships with the local telecommunications service providers. On this occasion, Eng. Khalid Al Salem stated this move which is part of Modon efforts to create smart strategic partnerships with government bodies and the private sector, and the establishment of an integrated industrial system to serve Modon's partners in order to contribute to enhancement of its position in the level of digital readiness and electronic transactions that are in line with the ambitious "Modon" strategy and plans to contribute to the implementation of the National Transformation Program 2020 and the realization of the Kingdom Vision 2030.
