The Saudi Industrial Property Authority "MODON" signed a memorandum of understanding with Environment Friends Society in Dammam, to strengthening coordination in the field of environmental awareness within existing facilities and factories in Modon Industrial Cities in the eastern region. Through Environmental Protection Initiative in the eastern region, to raising the awareness of environmental protection bodies and assisting them in carrying out their duties efficiently and effectively.
The agreement signed by the Director of Operating Department in charge of "MODON" engineer Ahmed Al-Hilayel, at the headquarters of the Second Industrial City in Dammam with the Chairman of the Board of the Society Management engineer Talal Al-Rasheed. To urge factories and enterprises within the industrial cities in the region to be more committed to the quality of the environment, by spreading environmental awareness through seminars, campaigns, workshops and environmental weeks. In addition, encouraging the participation of the parties in environmental events, in line with the efforts of "MODON" in performing its national and community role in providing a clean and safe environment that goes beyond the concept of industrial cities to extend to the incubator areas.
The Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications in Modon, Bandar Al-Toaimi stated that MODON establishing constructive cooperation relations with all parties that would stimulate the growth of the industrial sector and create the appropriate environment for it and partnerships with the private and non-profit sectors. In order to achieve its strategy in enabling industry in the Kingdom and enable to meet their obligations in implementing the plans of the National Transformation Program 2020 and achieving Saudi Vision 2030, to ensure that all its industrial cities are compatible with the global environmental and safety regulations.
