The Saudi Industrial Property Authority (MODON) participated in the first edition of the Bahrain International Defence Exhibition and Conference (BIDEC) 2017, which took place in Manama from October 16 to 18, under the patronage of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, King of the Kingdom of Bahrain, organized by the Bahrain Defence Force, with the participation of more than 60 countries from around the world.
The event, one of the most important military exhibitions in the Middle East, and an exclusive platform for meeting and communication between defence experts and senior representatives of companies specialized in this area; enabled “MODON” to exhibit its products and industrial opportunities, support services in the development and growth of national industries and expansion of its sphere, which will assist in achieving the Saudi Vision 2030 and its plans aimed at nationalizing the military industries by more than 50%.
Through its pavilion at the exhibition, “MODON” presented an overview of the advanced development of the infrastructure and the environment supporting industrial investment in its industrial cities. It also presented a brief of services, incentives, facilities and other investment components for industrialists, which includes various fields, industrial opportunities and supporting services, such as industrial lands and ready-built factories - built to international standards, high-end residential complexes, service and support centres etc.
Mr. Bandar Al-Toaimi, Director of Marketing and Corporate Communications at “MODON”, said that their participation in the exhibition aims to attract investors in the field of military industries by introducing investors to the available opportunities, and the investment climate environment, as well as incentives and benefits offered by “MODON” in its industrial cities spread all over the Kingdom.
