The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones “MODON”, signed agreement with Building Technology Stimulus Initiative, one of the private sector stimulus initiatives of the Housing Program and the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP). Where it was signed in the presence of His Excellency the President of the Housing Program Mr. Majid Al-Hugail  and General Supervisor of the "NIDLP " Program Engineer Aweed Al Harthy, during the signing ceremony, Eng. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al Salem, the General Director, represented “MODON”  and about the "initiative" the Supervisor General, Eng. Mahab bin Mohammed Saleh Benten. In this context, the Director General of "MODON" Eng. Khalid Al Salem,  state that the agreement aims at localization of innovative construction techniques,  where "MODON" provides industrial land and products with the highest international standards, as well as creating a smart and attractive industrial environment for local and international investment. Thus enhancing the localization and enabling the industry and  transfer of knowledge, and contributing to the creation of jobs in line with the Kingdom Vision 2030 in the direction of diversification of sources of national income. He added: "The agreement also aims to build a strategic relationship between the two parties to stimulate the advanced industries in the field of construction, and contribute to the strengthening of local content and the development of promising cities in the Kingdom by participating in supporting projects that serve these objectives, and provide services that will achieve the efforts of both parties in the industrial cities of  "MODON" throughout the Kingdom. Under the agreement "Modon" will be given appropriate incentives for approved and emerging projects on the initiative program, it also approves the allocation of projects from the initiative based on specific criteria and policies and procedures adopted to allocate land, taking into account the inclusion of these projects on the transfer of knowledge of value added, job generation for Saudis, and adoption through the "Building Technology Stimulus Initiative".
